Abby Acone is an Emmy Award-winning TV Meteorologist and Climate Reporter for Seattle’s FOX 13! In addition to knowing the ins and outs of weather patterns, cloud formations, and atmospheric pressure (yes, she’s a smarty pants), she also has a deep passion for coaching and leading other anchors to success in their careers.

That’s what we focused on in this photoshoot! It was such an honor and a treat to capture Abby outside of the greenscreen and TV cameras and show another side of her personality and passions!

We shot a lot of her sets on a white seamless backdrop at our main home location. Seamless sets not only allow you to have a clean backdrop perfect for cut outs, but it also is a great way to mix up using ONE location. We set up the seamless paper in the living room, and shot here first and then switched to the lifestyle set using the home as our backdrop.

Seamless set is done, now it’s onto the home sets …

One thing I always ask you in your pre-photoshoot questionnaire is what do you like to do outside of work? Abby’s response was “wine with friends” … so I insisted on a wine set!

Since the TV News industry can be an extreme rollercoaster of emptions, Abby is a big advocate for practicing meditation and caring for your mental health for both herself and her clients/community!
