KAREN KING PSYCHEDELIC COUNSELOR BRANDING PHOTOSHOOT

Karen King is a name that is synonymous with mental healthcare, but she is best known for being a leading practitioner in psychedelic and ketamine therapy and counseling. She has helped SO many achieve mental health breakthroughs with her science and intuition-based practice.

Karen specializes in 1:1 psychedelic/ketamine sessions as well as spiritual retreats for individuals who have reached a dead end in their mental healthcare. She also supports other therapists with coaching and consulting to help maximize their practices and impact as well.

I have respected Karen and her work for so long, it was truly an honor to create images to help promote the work she does! On her photoshoot day we listened to Billie Holiday, while I captured this beautiful soul. We also had a few of her friends come over to be models as we staged a retreat set, 1:1 therapy, and a (fake) Ketamine session.

I was also so excited to use my camera prisms for a few photos during the Ketamine set to further tell the story of the kind of experience Karen’s clients can expect. (so look out for them in the images below!)

We wrapped up our photoshoot in the field behind Blackbird Lodge where we did a “Goddess Set" which was SO inspiring! Karen has a background in dance, so we had fun playing with different body shapes and poses, further telling the story of what makes Karen, Karen - spiritual, beautiful, impactful, and strong!
