SAMANTHA FERRARO FOOD BLOGGER BRANDING PHOTOSHOOT
What a day this was! We had 1 food blogger + 10 staged dishes + 1 photographer who knows nothing about food + a gaggle of friends to help and support, and you get this incredible photoshoot with the one and only Samantha Ferraro!
Samantha is a cookbook author, food blogger, cheese aficionado, and winner of the best laugh in Washington State (which isn’t a real award, but if it was, she would win!).
Samantha ties Julia Child with her JOY in cooking. Creating vibrant, creative, and delicious dishes that she breaks down simply in her blog, cookbook, and Instagram stories, even cooking dum-dums (like myself) can understand them!
Sam brought her vivacious energy to her photoshoot where she and her friend fully prepped all the staged food that was ready for it’s close-up! She has a new and exciting project coming up, so we needed to create as much food content AND friend’s eating dinner photos as we could!
We had tons of food swaps, wardrobe changes, and even fired up her Instagram-famous woodfire pizza oven for a set! It was a big and ambitious day, but our teams had a clear and detailed plan and production sheet that kept us organized and on track for photoshoot day!
So many cheers to Sam, Joe, and the Little Ferraro Kitchen crew for being such troopers on this massive shoot!

Joe, Samantha’s husband, is the behind-the-scenes guy to Little Ferraro Kitchen, and always the showman, making us all laugh on set! I always make sure he is included in a few photos throughout the day since he and Sam really are truly a dynamic duo!
Welcome to the charcuterie board of your dreams! (drooling as I type this!)
Sam truly has the best friends around! They came in ready with their wardrobe changes and to model for our “community dinner” sets! However, eating yummy food and making them drink wine over and over again wasn’t a hard ask! ha ha!
